Babel is the middle Stratum of Limbo and is the main setting for the events of Lexicon.

Although the true origin of Babel has been forgotten, Babel lives on as the most "civilized" of the 3 Stratum. Seemingly simple, the inhabitants have complex systems of organization and morality, as well as, advanced technology that appear to be magical in nature.
Babel consists of 6 unique geographical Domains and people groups. At the center of Babel, the Entry serves as a melting pot for all of the surrounding Domains. While beautifully diverse, Babel is also known for its conflict and division among those who call it home.
